This is a letter to commend Vicki Shoemaker for her outstanding work as a real estate professional while helping to sell our home and helping us to find just the right house to make our new home. Vicki was tireless with helping us to look at many houses and traveling many miles in a given day and over many months to help us find the lovely home that we found. She had done her homework, not only looking for what we had speciffically said we wanted but also knowing what else was in the area that was not quite what we had asked for but she thought we should at least look at. We bought one of those, the one we weren't looking for but absolutely loved. She got our offer in immediately and if she had waited even hours, we would have been behind two other buyers and not have gotten the home we love. She followed through helping to insure that our purchase was done well and the home was all that it was reported to be.
Meanwhile, an offer was made on our home, accepted and the man was difficult with many demands including that we return early from vacation because they wanted to close immediately. We flew back and tried to accommodate even the smallest demands. Then it went sour. The man decided his wife liked another home better just before closing and wanted to pull out without losing his earnest money. Vicki had her hands full. He failed to show up for scheduled closings and generally made Vicki's life miserable. She was amazing. She handled everything in stride with great professionalism and was strong and firm as she explained the law and gave no quarter. The sale went through and aside from the man coming on our moving day and tearing through the house while we were trying to clean things out, everything worked out. We experienced Vicki to be knowledgeable, professional, sensitive and well able to represent you in challenging sales. We would highly recommend her.
